Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved playing with my hair and makeup. I cannot count the number times I cut my bangs or begged for my mother’s lipstick. In 2006, I became a licensed esthetician so I could share my knowledge with as many people as possible. I chose skin care over cosmetology because I was struggling with acne and wanted to become an expert on combating breakouts. But the absence of a cosmetology license has not slowed down my DIY attitude towards beauty. (Kids and scary facial masks, beware.) Because I’m always trying new trends and testing new products but keeping all of the results to myself. That is, until now.
I’m excited to share every side of DIY with all of you – the good, the bad, and the “I woke up like this.” Because to me, true beauty has to be tried and tested. And I plan on doing that right here.
