My Evening Skin Care Routine

If I could give you one tip about skin care, it would be: less is more. When I first started as an esthetician, I thought you needed rough exfoliation, soap that left you squeaky clean, and toners that stung a bit; now my routine is simple and my skin is reaping the benefits. I will share with you the products I am using at the time, but if you have questions about your skin, I would be happy to help you find the perfect product for YOU.

Cleanser- I am a huge fan of cream cleansers!! When I had acne, I thought you needed to use a soapy product to get your pores truly clean, but then I realized it was stripping my skin of natural oils, thus creating overabundance of oil. The product I am using right now is the Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk. This stuff smells amazing and leaves my skin supple and soft…not squeaky.

Serum- I believe that we should exfoliate our skin via retinol and not scrub, so I highly recommend a retinol serum. The serum I use  is Instanatural Vitamin C Serum and it contains vitamin c, retinol, salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and hyaluronic acid to help your skin glow, reduce wrinkles, and reduce acne.

Eye Cream- When it comes to an eye cream I want one that can DO-IT-ALL!! The Rodan + Fields Redefine Multifunction Eye Cream is Amazing: I was thrown off by the price but once I received it, I realized that tiny container will go a long way.

Night Cream- Since I am using a powerhouse serum, I want a simple moisturizer. I have been using the Instanatural Night Cream and it has been one of my favorites. This one doesn’t have a great smell or come in a pretty bottle- but it works perfectly.
